California's Senate and Assembly both approved bill AB 2098 that would punish doctors for spreading "misinformation" to their patients. The backers of the bill say it's meant to suppress the most extreme kinds of misinformation being spread by doctors, but what's considered "extreme," or even what constitutes "misinformation" is either not spelled out in the bill or very vague.
