After his organization WikiLeaks published thousands of pages of classified U.S. government documents, he took refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy in London—but not for what you might think. After evading law enforcement there for 7 years, he's now incarcerated in the U.K. The U.S. is asking the U.K. to extradite him.
